Surely the Lord is worthy to be praised for He is truly good and kind and full of mercy. He has saved me from destruction and cleansed me from all my sins. He crowns my life with good things and renews me daily. How wonderful is my Lord.

Psalms 91:2
I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in whom I trust.
It is easy to put your trust in people, but ultimately, at some point people will fail you. God will never fail He always trustworthy and aways a refuge in time of trouble. Let Him lead you today. You will see He is truly all you need.

Psalm 1:1-3
1Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the wicked,
Nor standeth in the way of sinners,
Nor sitteth in the seat of scoffers:
2But his delight is in the law of Jehovah;
And on his law doth he meditate day and night.
3And he shall be like a tree planted by the streams of water,
That bringeth forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also doth not wither;
And whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
In the 1st verse of this chapter it says blessed is the man who does not stand in the way of sinners. Some time Christians are so self righteous that they are in the way of sinners coming to Christ. Don't stand in the way today. To be a christian is to be Christ like and He is merciful and compassionate to everyone He shows grace and we need to do the same. There is enough criticism in the world lets give words of hope.

Psalm 23
1The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2He maketh me to lie down in green pastures;
He leadeth me beside still waters.
3He restoreth my soul:
He guideth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
4Yea, thou I walk through the valley of the shadow of
death,
I will fear no evil; for thou art with me;
Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.
5Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine
enemies:
Thou hast anointed my head with oil;
My cup runneth over.
6Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all
the days of my life;
And I shall dwell in the house of The Lord for ever.
Like a shepherd the Lord cares for me He is leading and guiding me even in the darkest of times. That is how great His Mercy is toward me. What a wonderful Savior I have.

Psalms 86:1-7
1Bow down thine ear, O Jehovah, and answer me;
For I am poor and needy.
2Preserve my soul; for I am godly:
O thou my God, save thy servant that trusteth in thee.
3Be merciful unto me, O Lord;
For unto thee do I cry all the day long.
4Rejoice the soul of thy servant;
For unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.
5For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive,
And abundant in lovingkindness unto all them that call upon thee.
6Give ear, O Jehovah, unto my prayer;
And hearken unto the voice of my supplications.
7In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee;
For thou wilt answer me.
I am so thankful to the Lord that He hears and answers, sometimes it is in a way that we may not even have thought but He answers. I had an experience yesterday where He did just that. My daughter, two of her friends and my best friend broke down on the interstate in Atlanta, Georgia in 100 degree heat and I was 3 hours from home. I prayed that someone would stop to help and they did. A man and his girlfriend were on a motorcycle and stopped to help us. He went and got his truck and pulled me to a safe area and then unlocked a local business that was unoccupied and allowed us to stay there out of the heat until our help arrived. I am glad and Praise God for this mans kindness to me and my friends and family. I pray that the Lord will bless him and his girlfriend. God is always near to us and he will answer in time of trouble.

Psalm 147: 1,3, &11
1Praise ye Jehovah;
For it is good to sing praises unto our God;
For it is pleasant, [and] praise is comely.
3He healeth the broken in heart,
And bindeth up their wounds.
11Jehovah taketh pleasure in them that fear him,
In those that hope in his loving kindness.
It is wonderful to know that God heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds. So often we loose site of Him when the circumstance of our life bring sorrow, pain and question to our minds. But, it is His pleasure to to care for those who hope in His loving kindness. How good and gracious He is. Focus on Him in your adversity and He will comfort you.

Psalms 18:1-3
"1"I love thee, O Jehovah, my strength.
2Jehovah is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
My God, my rock, in whom I will take refuge;
My shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.
3I will call upon Jehovah, who is worthy to be praised:
So shall I be saved from mine enemies"
What wonderful hope we have knowing that the God who created the universe is our fortress and a place in which we can take refuge. He alone is our salvation our place of safety. I will not forget to praise Him for he is worthy.
